Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexborough's Faleh Al Homaithe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Majed Al Mothaf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naem Taqi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ammar Al Zamel made a huge save. Qutaiba Al Mehana's late challenge caught a Mexborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qutaiba Al Mehana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Hayle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qutaiba Al Mehana to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Naem Taqi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Naem Taqi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ammar Al Zamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes of play, Mexborough's Naem Taqi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ammar Al Zamel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faleh Al Homaithe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ammar Al Zamel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Majed Al Mothaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raed Al Sallal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faleh Al Homaithe in the 31st minute of play forced Hayle United's goalkeeper Ammar Al Zamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexborough's Khalefa Al Gareb got a free kick in the 34th minute. Saed Al Dosery charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saed Al Dosery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, one of Mexborough:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexborough. The referee gave Hayle United a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fayez Al Harban, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexborough's Raed Al Sallal. 1-1. Ebrahem Kamal kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Majed Al Mothaf made a precise shot to the right of Raed Al Sallal. Mexborough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarah Al Ramzi was the one to do the kick off. When Qutaiba Al Mehana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 66th match minute, Hayle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qutaiba Al Mehana to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Mexborough got a freekick which was hit by Faraj Al Dekhel. Majed Al Mothaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Raed Al Sallal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarah Al Ramzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raed Al Sallal having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Othman Al Besher during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mexborough getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Othman Al Besher hit a great ball. If Faleh Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Naem Taqi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hayle United's Ammar Al Zamel. Ammar Al Zamel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
