Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Holmer Green's Morad Al Mansor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nawaf Al Sarraf might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faleh Hayat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nawaf Al Sarraf ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Oulton Broad's zone, Fuad Al Abdullah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khaled Sarkhoh came out of the goal and Fuad Al Abdullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holmer Green's Faleh Hayat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamzah Al Bana in the 12th minute of play. Shaban Al Attar charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaban Al Attar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Holmer Green getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Shaban Al Attar hit a great ball. If Morad Al Mansor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Nawaf Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nawaf Al Sarraf struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Faleh Hayat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oulton Broad. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morad Al Mansor in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khaled Sarkhoh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nawaf Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Oulton Broad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nawaf Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. After the first half Oulton Broad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hamzah Al Bana to strike the kick off in the second half. Faleh Hayat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamzah Al Bana in the 55th minute of the match. Nemir Bo Abbas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Fuad Al Abdullah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khaled Sarkhoh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derar Abol during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Holmer Green's Derar Abol got a free kick in the 71st minute. Oulton Broad's Ghanim Al Abdullah couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holmer Green. If Hamzah Al Bana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nawaf Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Oulton Broad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nawaf Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. In the 81stth minute of the game Hamzah Al Bana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmer Green's Faleh Hayat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nawaf Al Sarraf got free with Faleh Hayat in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87th play minutes Morad Al Mansor shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Khaled Sarkhoh and just under the crossbar into goal. When Hamzah Al Bana came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Oulton Broad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamzah Al Bana couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oulton Broad's goalkeeper Khaled Sarkhoh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oulton Broad were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
