The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mosab Al Shati helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buxton getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mosab Al Shati hit a great ball. Houghton Regis's Ahmad Shadad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bashar Bo Shehri in the 11th minute of play. When Bashar Bo Shehri came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Buxton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bashar Bo Shehri couldn't finish the play. In the 18thth minute of the game Bashar Bo Shehri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houghton Regis's Ahmad Shadad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bashar Bo Shehri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Buxton getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Farhan Bo Abbas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morad Al Sayer in the 27th minute of play forced Houghton Regis's goalkeeper Ahmad Shadad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basel Mandane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faisal Al Ansari in the 37th minute. Basel Mandane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naem Al Balool, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Houghton Regis's goal looked a bit too open when Bashar Bo Shehri came free, but Ahmad Shadad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Bashar Bo Shehri made the kick off in the second half. Basel Mandane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faisal Al Ansari, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Buxton's zone, Naem Al Balool stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basel Mandane came out of the goal and Naem Al Balool tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmad Shadad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morad Al Sayer went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Faisal Al Ansari charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faisal Al Ansari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Houghton Regis's Faisal Al Ansari got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Bo Shehri in the 75th minute of play forced Houghton Regis's goalkeeper Ahmad Shadad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bashar Bo Shehri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Faisal Al Ansari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houghton Regis's supporters rose to their feet, but Faisal Al Ansari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basel Mandane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bashar Bo Shehri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Buxton's goal looked a bit too open when Naem Al Balool came free, but Basel Mandane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faisal Al Ansari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naem Al Balool in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basel Mandane saved Buxton from getting behind. When Hakem Al Jalahma fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Houghton Regis's protests and gave Hakem Al Jalahma a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Houghton Regis's Hakem Al Jalahma got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88thth minute Nizar Al Sallal beautifully dribbled past Houghton Regis's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Ahmad Shadad pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. 0-2 came in the 88th minute when Nizar Al Sallal all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ahmad Shadad. Basel Mandane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naem Al Balool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Morad Al Sayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buxton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morad Al Sayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buxton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
