Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eyad Al Khames started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Beckford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edrees Al Qatam to maneuver through the defense. Eyad Al Khames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Beckford's goal looked a bit too open when Morad Taqi came free, but Sultan Al Adsani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Beckford's goal looked a bit too open when Eyad Al Khames came free, but Sultan Al Adsani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morad Taqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sultan Al Adsani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Eyad Al Khames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sultan Al Adsani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salam Al Baghli got free with Zahid Al Amer in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nasser Al Besher fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westcliff on Sea City's protests and gave Nasser Al Besher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Nasser Al Besher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sobah Al Mothaf hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Edrees Al Qatam's late challenge caught a Westcliff on Sea City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edrees Al Qatam helped the player get up and apologised. Edrees Al Qatam kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Zahid Al Amer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shehab Mandane in the 23rd minute of play. Mnawer Al Ali charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mnawer Al Ali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Beckford got a freekick which was hit by Mnawer Al Ali. Shehab Mandane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zahid Al Amer having to make a save. Zahid Al Amer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shehab Mandane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Westcliff on Sea City getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sobah Al Mothaf hit a great ball. After 44 minutes Westcliff on Sea City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Morad Abol who took care of the corner kick. If Sobah Al Mothaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Westcliff on Sea City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Westcliff on Sea City getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nasser Al Besher hit a great ball. Zahid Al Amer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shehab Mandane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shehab Mandane in the 59th minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea City's goalkeeper Zahid Al Amer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Eyad Al Khames reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sultan Al Adsani. The goal made the score 0-2. Westcliff on Sea City's Eyad Al Khames got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mnawer Al Ali in the 69th minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea City's goalkeeper Zahid Al Amer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Beckford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mnawer Al Ali to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beckford's goalkeeper Sultan Al Adsani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morad Taqi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Sultan Al Adsani made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Shehab Mandane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zahid Al Amer. Westcliff on Sea City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shehab Mandane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Morad Taqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
