Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Salim Al Muwail fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmers Green's protests and gave Salim Al Muwail a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmers Green getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Salim Al Muwail hit a great ball. Shehab Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sameer Jiragh having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Edrees Al Qatam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mnawer Al Ali fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Beckford booed when Palmers Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullah Al Muwail didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Shehab Mandane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shehab Mandane in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sameer Jiragh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sameer Jiragh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shehab Mandane, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shehab Mandane to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salam Al Baghli in the 53rd minute of play forced Palmers Green's goalkeeper Sameer Jiragh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Palmers Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salim Al Muwail to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palmers Green had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
