Shaban Al Fadhalah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qasem Al Towatan having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Yasser Al Dabos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moretonhampstead's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingatestone the free kick. A collision led to Moretonhampstead getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yasser Al Dabos hit a great ball. If Jamal Shabakhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qasem Al Towatan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaban Al Fadhalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Maitham Al Hammady charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maitham Al Hammady the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th minute of the match Fadhel Al Ateqi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nizar Al Sarraf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Moretonhampstead's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamal Shabakhoh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nizar Al Sarraf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shaban Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 88 played minutes, Ingatestone's Khalaf Jiragh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Qasem Al Towatan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ingatestone reached it. Khalaf Taqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mortada Al Qatam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nizar Al Sarraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingatestone's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
