Stanislav Vrazhnov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Atashev having to interfere. Oleg Akopyan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Albert Kartomyshev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurgan. David Grishin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oleg Akopyan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vitaliy Klimentev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vitaliy Klimentev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, David Grishin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurgan's supporters rose to their feet, but David Grishin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Kartomyshev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oleg Akopyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Grishin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksey Atashev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Klimentev in the 66th minute of the match. Stanislav Vrazhnov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Kartomyshev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Akopyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Vitaliy Klimentev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Atashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Pavel Zapolskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurgan and the Nakhodka players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Kurgan got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Zapolskiy. After 82 minutes of play Kurgan's Rostislav Dubonos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 83 played minutes Kurgan got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Dubonos. Aleksey Atashev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Vrazhnov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 88th match minute, Kurgan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Saraev to maneuver through the defense. David Grishin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Albert Kartomyshev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nakhodka getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Anton Korenev hit a great ball.
