Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Samara's zone, Evgeniy Tatarinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasiliy Yakovlev came out of the goal and Evgeniy Tatarinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes, Samara's Rustam Mamin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zinoviy Leontovich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samara reached it. If Valeriy Milovidov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriy Milovidov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zinoviy Leontovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Sergey Zaikin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriy Milovidov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Zinoviy Leontovich made a huge save. Valeriy Milovidov struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Zinoviy Leontovich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergey Zaikin in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zinoviy Leontovich saved Zhukovsky from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriy Milovidov got free with Zinoviy Leontovich in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasiliy Yakovlev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evgeniy Tatarinov's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Sergey Zaikin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Samara's Sergey Zaikin in 47 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Zinoviy Leontovich guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 49th minute, Sergey Zaikin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zinoviy Leontovich. The goal made the score 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Maksimilian Matrosov made the kick off in the second half. Zinoviy Leontovich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Kudryashov, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Maksimilian Matrosov struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Vasiliy Yakovlev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zhukovsky. Vasiliy Yakovlev made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Evgeniy Tatarinov sent off a good shot on target. Zinoviy Leontovich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Zaikin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Maksimilian Matrosov came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zhukovsky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksimilian Matrosov couldn't finish the play. Vasiliy Yakovlev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evgeniy Tatarinov in the 90th minute. If Valeriy Milovidov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergey Zaikin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zinoviy Leontovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Zaikin in the 101st minute of play forced Zhukovsky's goalkeeper Zinoviy Leontovich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
