Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Timofey Kazachenok kicked off to start the match. Valentin Shangareev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoliy Misyurkeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Shangareev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Shvaikov in the 4th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Vologda's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Bliznyakov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikita Soloviev. Filimon Kopylov's late challenge caught a Vologda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filimon Kopylov helped the player get up and apologised. Andrey Doroshkov placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 22 minutes, Anatoliy Misyurkeev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vologda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Misyurkeev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Shangareev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Shvaikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ernest Shvaikov took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Shangareev. Valentin Shangareev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Timofey Kazachenok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timofey Kazachenok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vyacheslav Bliznyakov made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nikita Soloviev sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Vologda's Vyacheslav Bliznyakov got control of the ball when Nikita Soloviev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timofey Kazachenok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Bliznyakov having to interfere. If Timofey Kazachenok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ernest Shvaikov made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vologda's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Soloviev came free, but Vyacheslav Bliznyakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Konstantin Kutsiy in the 58th minute really tested Valentin Shangareev's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vologda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrey Doroshkov in the 64th minute. The corner led Vologda's Andrey Doroshkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Shangareev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 66 played minutes Petrozavodsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Marat Vertinskiy. 67 minutes into the game, Vologda's Anatoliy Misyurkeev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Shangareev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ernest Shvaikov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Vologda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Valentin Shangareev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Shvaikov in the 77th minute of the match. Timofey Kazachenok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrozavodsk FC's Nikita Soloviev got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Shangareev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Shvaikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Anatoliy Misyurkeev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Petrozavodsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Sheptulin came free, but Valentin Shangareev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
