Semen Bildinskiy started the match with the kick off. Innokentiy Pinchuk hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Voronezh FC's David Lihachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semen Bildinskiy in the 3rd minute of play. If Grigoriy Balzhishmaev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Voronezh FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Karl Sitnikov hit a great ball. Grigoriy Balzhishmaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergey Demin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timofey Buyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Timofey Buyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semen Bildinskiy struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. David Lihachev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korolev.

Semen Bildinskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. David Lihachev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korolev were furious when Vasiliy Veryugin was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 63rd minute, one of Korolev:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Korolev. The referee gave Voronezh FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aleksandr Subbotin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Korolev's Sergey Demin. 1-0. 72 minutes into the match, Korolev's goal looked a bit too open when Timofey Buyanov came free, but Sergey Demin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes Korolev's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksandr Subbotin who took care of the corner kick. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korolev's goalkeeper Sergey Demin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigoriy Balzhishmaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Voronezh FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Innokentiy Pinchuk hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Danil Orlov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sergey Demin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Korolev's Grigoriy Nikiforov got a free kick in the 98th minute. Voronezh FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
