If Leonid Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Lihachev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rustam Prohorov went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Voronezh FC's Innokentiy Pinchuk got a free kick in the 9th minute. Voronezh FC's David Lihachev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Voronezh FC from getting a goal against them. Timofey Buyanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Orekhovo-Zuevo's goal looked a bit too open when Timofey Buyanov came free, but Evsey Antipov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Innokentiy Pinchuk during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Innokentiy Pinchuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Timofey Buyanov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Orekhovo-Zuevo's Evsey Antipov. Evsey Antipov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Voronezh FC's Timofey Buyanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evsey Antipov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Leonid Miller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lihachev having to interfere. Rustam Prohorov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but David Lihachev made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Miller in the 41st minute of play forced Voronezh FC's goalkeeper David Lihachev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rustam Prohorov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orekhovo-Zuevo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rustam Prohorov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Lihachev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonid Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Leonid Miller made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Timofey Buyanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evsey Antipov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonid Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aleksandr Subbotin fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voronezh FC's protests and gave Aleksandr Subbotin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Voronezh FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aleksandr Subbotin hit a great ball. Leonid Miller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orekhovo-Zuevo's Rustam Prohorov got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Orekhovo-Zuevo got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Azimov. After recieving a nice pass, Voronezh FC's Aleksandr Subbotin tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl Sitnikov charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Sitnikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Irakliy Brizhan made a great header on Orekhovo-Zuevo's corner, it was just that Voronezh FC's David Lihachev managed to reach the ball for a save. Rustam Prohorov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Innokentiy Pinchuk was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Innokentiy Pinchuk hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Rustam Prohorov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voronezh FC's David Lihachev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rustam Prohorov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Voronezh FC's Danil Orlov got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Voronezh FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
