Valentin Vorontsov scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolay Noskov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Vladislav Zimin came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ryazan HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladislav Zimin couldn't finish the play. Valentin Vorontsov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nikolay Noskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladislav Zimin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilya Vorobiev charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilya Vorobiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilya Vorobiev hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ryazan HC's goalkeeper Nikolay Noskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evgeniy Domeiko to make the kick off. Anatoliy Morozov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Zimin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Biysk's Daniil Rodnin in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nikolay Noskov guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Valentin Vorontsov managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Biysk and the Ryazan HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute Evgeniy Domeiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoliy Morozov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Ruslan Alehin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biysk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ryazan HC the free kick. Ruslan Alehin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, one of Biysk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ryazan HC a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evgeniy Lyubatovich, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Biysk's Anatoliy Morozov. 1-1. Ryazan HC's Nikolay Noskov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ryazan HC from getting a goal against them. Nikolay Noskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniil Rodnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolay Noskov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Vorontsov in the 95th minute. Nikolay Noskov had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Daniil Rodnin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
