Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute of the match Yuriy Ezhov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arkadiy Aitakov skillfully saved the ball. In the 9th match minute, Khimki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irakliy Afanasev to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Chita's Timur Poksevatkin tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Nikolay Izmailov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vasiliy Morshinin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolay Izmailov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Khimki's goalkeeper Vasiliy Morshinin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Chita got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Berezutskiy. The crowd rose to their feet as Evgeniy Naumov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arkadiy Aitakov. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Khimki's Evgeniy Naumov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arkadiy Aitakov. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. Dmitriy Loginov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Arkadiy Aitakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khimki's Dmitriy Loginov got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Innokentiy Karyaka hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Khimki's goalkeeper Vasiliy Morshinin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitaliy Byshovets. Arkadiy Aitakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Loginov, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 66 minutes, Yuriy Ezhov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khimki and the Chita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Khimki got a freekick which was hit by Yuriy Ezhov. Timur Poksevatkin succeeded in the game's 67th minute to get real power on a long shot . Khimki's Vasiliy Morshinin hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-2! In the 71st minute, Nikolay Izmailov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vitaliy Byshovets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Khimki getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mechislav Lobanov hit a great ball. Arkadiy Aitakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Loginov in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Khimki got a freekick which was hit by Mechislav Lobanov. The supporters of Chita booed when Khimki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Serpuhovitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Timur Poksevatkin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Khimki's Vasiliy Morshinin didn't even have to move. 84 minutes into the match, Khimki's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolay Izmailov came free, but Vasiliy Morshinin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiy Aitakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Naumov in the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Vitaliy Byshovets from a close distance when the talented Vasiliy Morshinin managed to make a qualified save. Khimki's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Chita's Evgeniy Anisimov got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolay Izmailov in the 96th minute of play forced Khimki's goalkeeper Vasiliy Morshinin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
