Oleg Gavrilov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Prozin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oleg Gavrilov came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Murom's Igor Prozin. But to his dismay, Igor Prozin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Magnitogorsk FC booed when Murom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Fomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Murom's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeniy Voloh came free, but Vadim Kalinin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Khokhlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Kalinin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Murom defense, German Khokhlov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vadim Kalinin. The Murom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vadim Kalinin should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Magnitogorsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Prozin came free, but Oleg Gavrilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Igor Prozin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Magnitogorsk FC's Oleg Gavrilov. Oleg Gavrilov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evgeniy Voloh to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Prozin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Voloh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vadim Kalinin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Nikolay Fomin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. German Khokhlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Kalinin having to interfere. The supporters of Magnitogorsk FC booed when Murom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoriy Brylin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evgeniy Voloh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vadim Kalinin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Evgeniy Voloh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vadim Kalinin having to make a save. The audience was convinced that German Khokhlov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vadim Kalinin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Evgeniy Voloh struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Vadim Kalinin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magnitogorsk FC. 82 minutes into the match, Evgeniy Voloh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vadim Kalinin. Murom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evgeniy Voloh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If German Khokhlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vadim Kalinin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evgeniy Voloh in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Prozin in the 95th minute of play forced Magnitogorsk FC's goalkeeper Oleg Gavrilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Murom players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Magnitogorsk FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
