Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arseniy Sibirtsev started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Komsomolsk-on-Amur booed when Magnitogorsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danil Larionov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arseniy Sibirtsev in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oleg Gavrilov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 played minutes Komsomolsk-on-Amur got a freekick which was hit by Rustam Palkov. After 6 minutes, Pavel Tishkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Komsomolsk-on-Amur and the Magnitogorsk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Pavel Tishkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oleg Gavrilov came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Komsomolsk-on-Amur's Danila Anikeev. But to his dismay, Danila Anikeev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Danila Anikeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Gavrilov having to interfere. Arseniy Sibirtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Danila Anikeev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Komsomolsk-on-Amur's supporters rose to their feet, but Danila Anikeev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oleg Gavrilov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magnitogorsk FC's Oleg Gavrilov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Magnitogorsk FC from getting a goal against them. Vladimir Mashinskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksey Merzlikin. Komsomolsk-on-Amur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. German Khokhlov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aleksey Merzlikin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksey Merzlikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Voloh, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 48 played minutes Komsomolsk-on-Amur got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Shomin. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evgeniy Voloh to strike the kick off in the second half. Evgeniy Voloh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Merzlikin having to interfere. When Denis Dolmatovskiy fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Komsomolsk-on-Amur's protests and gave Denis Dolmatovskiy a yellow card for diving instead. If Evgeniy Voloh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Khokhlov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aleksey Merzlikin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksey Merzlikin made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when German Khokhlov sent off a good shot on target. Oleg Gavrilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danila Anikeev in the 68th minute of the match. When Arseniy Sibirtsev came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Komsomolsk-on-Amur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arseniy Sibirtsev couldn't finish the play. Aleksey Merzlikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Voloh, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Komsomolsk-on-Amur's Aleksey Merzlikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Voloh in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danila Anikeev in the 88th minute of play forced Magnitogorsk FC's goalkeeper Oleg Gavrilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evgeniy Voloh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aleksey Merzlikin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danila Anikeev struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Oleg Gavrilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Evgeniy Voloh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksey Merzlikin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The Magnitogorsk FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Komsomolsk-on-Amur from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
