Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pavel Karichev took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rybinsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Berezovskiy came free, but Leonid Karagaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Pavel Karichev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rybinsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Karichev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petr Berezovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leonid Karagaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rybinsk FC's Leonid Karagaev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Prosenko in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rybinsk FC defense, Denis Prosenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonid Karagaev. The Rybinsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonid Karagaev should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Rybinsk FC's zone, Petr Berezovskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonid Karagaev came out of the goal and Petr Berezovskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rybinsk FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Podolsk FC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniil Izotin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rybinsk FC's Leonid Karagaev. 0-2. After 37 played minutes Podolsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Petr Berezovskiy. Arkadiy Kruger kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Aleksey Satsyperov came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rybinsk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksey Satsyperov couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rybinsk FC booed when Podolsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Bukhantsev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Timur Markov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Karichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Aleksey Novikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rybinsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksey Novikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rybinsk FC's Aleksey Novikov got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rybinsk FC booed when Podolsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Gorodetskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Karichev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timur Markov having to make a save. When Rybinsk FC's Pavel Karichev in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Podolsk FC played a much better game than Rybinsk FC and deserved their victory. The Rybinsk FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
