Valeriy Osin in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Scherbakov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrey Gorchakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Kovtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Valeriy Osin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Scherbakov having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Kir Romashov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulan-Ude FC and the Syzran players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Kir Romashov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Vitaliy Kovtun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrey Gorchakov. Ulan-Ude FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitaliy Kovtun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Valeriy Osin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Igor Scherbakov made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Vadim Isaenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Syzran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulan-Ude FC the free kick. A collision led to Syzran getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vadim Isaenko hit a great ball. Kir Romashov was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kir Romashov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Syzran's Vadim Isaenko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ulan-Ude FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Valeriy Osin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Scherbakov having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Vitaliy Kovtun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Andrey Gorchakov, passed just outside the right post. Valeriy Osin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Scherbakov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Efim Osipov hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Igor Scherbakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriy Osin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Vitaliy Kovtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigoriy Salagin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Gorchakov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriy Osin in the 85th minute of play forced Syzran's goalkeeper Igor Scherbakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Grigoriy Salagin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Scherbakov came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulan-Ude FC's Efim Osipov. But to his dismay, Efim Osipov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Syzran eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
