Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vadim Odintsov took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birobidzhan FC's goalkeeper Vasiliy Belousov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vasiliy Belousov came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnaul's Matvey Morokin. But to his dismay, Matvey Morokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Zuev in the 14th minute of play forced Birobidzhan FC's goalkeeper Vasiliy Belousov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksey Ananov hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of Birobidzhan FC booed when Barnaul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Nezlobin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savva Krutov charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savva Krutov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Birobidzhan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savva Krutov to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Matvey Morokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnaul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matvey Morokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladislav Zuev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasiliy Belousov having to interfere. Vadim Odintsov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Innokentiy Semiletov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gennadiy Soinikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Barnaul were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladislav Zuev to make the kick off. A collision led to Barnaul getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Matvey Morokin hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Vadim Odintsov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birobidzhan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vadim Odintsov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vadim Odintsov in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gennadiy Soinikov saved Barnaul from getting behind. Nikita Sokovnin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Vadim Odintsov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birobidzhan FC's Vasiliy Belousov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Birobidzhan FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Barnaul defense, Vadim Odintsov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gennadiy Soinikov. The Barnaul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gennadiy Soinikov should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Barnaul's zone, Gleb Dudarenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gennadiy Soinikov came out of the goal and Gleb Dudarenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute of the match Efrem Sorokin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gennadiy Soinikov skillfully saved the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
