Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Astrakhan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Bessonov came free, but Egor Adelman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stepan Zorkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dmitriy Baruzdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipp Karyutkin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dmitriy Baruzdin. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Khimki FC's Dmitriy Baruzdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipp Karyutkin in the 13th minute of play. Vitaliy Apraksin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egor Adelman having to interfere. If Irakliy Aleksankin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Vitaliy Apraksin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khimki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitaliy Apraksin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khimki FC's Dmitriy Baruzdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Khimki FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Khimki FC booed when Astrakhan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostislav Savinskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Bessonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egor Adelman having to interfere. Egor Adelman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitaliy Apraksin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Rostislav Savinskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dmitriy Baruzdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipp Karyutkin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dmitriy Baruzdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dmitriy Baruzdin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stepan Zorkin in the 37th minute. When Boris Bessonov came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Khimki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Bessonov couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Filipp Karyutkin made the kick off in the second half. Stepan Zorkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dmitriy Baruzdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Irakliy Aleksankin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khimki FC and the Astrakhan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Irakliy Aleksankin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Boris Bessonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Astrakhan FC's Stepan Zorkin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dmitriy Baruzdin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Anatoliy Vadeev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitriy Baruzdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Karyutkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dmitriy Baruzdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Zorkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Astrakhan FC's Filipp Karyutkin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dmitriy Baruzdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Khimki FC's Vitaliy Apraksin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Bessonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Egor Adelman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dmitriy Baruzdin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Astrakhan FC's Stepan Zorkin. But to his dismay, Stepan Zorkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Astrakhan FC had won after a very even match.
