Kolomna FC's Fedor Bachurin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Semashko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Surgut got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Ptichkin. Boris Lavrentev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Semashko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedor Bachurin to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Surgut! When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Kolomna FC's Mikhail Negerev got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Boris Lavrentev. After some careless play in the Kolomna FC defense, Ivan Homskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oleg Doronin. The Kolomna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oleg Doronin should have stopped the shot. If Ivan Homskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Mikhail Popov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Doronin having to interfere. Oleg Doronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Popov in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Rostislav Golofastov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lev Lapin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oleg Doronin. Kolomna FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Fedor Bachurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolomna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surgut the free kick. The supporters of Surgut booed when Kolomna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedor Bachurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikhail Popov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Doronin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kolomna FC's zone, Ivan Homskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Doronin came out of the goal and Ivan Homskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Surgut were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
