Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ruslan Terehov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denis Chesmenskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lev Dolgov kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 13 minutes Voronezh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ippolit Sergeev who took care of the corner kick. Anatoliy Batenkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Voronezh got a freekick which was hit by Lev Dolgov. 17 minutes into the game, Blagoveshchensk's Anatoliy Batenkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikanor Timarevskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A hard shot 24 in the game by Denis Chesmenskiy from a close distance when the talented Vyacheslav Matienko managed to make a qualified save. Blagoveshchensk's players were relieved. Ruslan Terehov had several of the Blagoveshchensk's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Vyacheslav Matienko as he didn't even see the shot coming. Blagoveshchensk's Vyacheslav Matienko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Terehov in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Voronezh getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lev Dolgov hit a great ball. Anatoliy Batenkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nikanor Timarevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anatoliy Batenkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Stepin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikanor Timarevskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Voronezh's zone, Denis Stepin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikanor Timarevskiy came out of the goal and Denis Stepin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Chesmenskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedor Bagrich struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nikanor Timarevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blagoveshchensk. After a defensive mix-up in Blagoveshchensk's zone, Denis Chesmenskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vyacheslav Matienko came out of the goal and Denis Chesmenskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Chesmenskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vyacheslav Matienko came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Voronezh's Ruslan Terehov. But to his dismay, Ruslan Terehov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Blagoveshchensk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Matienko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Voronezh's goalkeeper Nikanor Timarevskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Stepin. Vyacheslav Matienko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Terehov in the 86th minute of the match.
