Boris Lavrentev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Chesmenskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
