Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vladislav Bestemyanov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aleksey Berdichevskiy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Manyuk in the 6th minute of play forced Elets's goalkeeper Nikolay Toporkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedot Mogilev charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedot Mogilev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Elets's zone, Veniamin Manyuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolay Toporkov came out of the goal and Veniamin Manyuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedot Mogilev hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kostroma FC's Eldar Kapustin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolay Toporkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikolay Toporkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Manyuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Evgeniy Zinovev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evgeniy Zinovev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vladimir Bukhartsev made a huge save. Fedor Kopylov charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedor Kopylov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elets fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Mikhail Selvinskiy's late challenge caught a Elets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikhail Selvinskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimir Bukhartsev was a little too slow when Evgeniy Zinovev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Evgeniy Zinovev might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Bukhartsev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evgeniy Zinovev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Evgeniy Zinovev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikita Chuhlomskiy tried in the game's 38th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Vladimir Bukhartsev. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. If Veniamin Manyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Elets's Evgeniy Zinovev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir Bukhartsev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimir Bukhartsev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evgeniy Zinovev in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Veniamin Manyuk made the kick off in the second half. When Veniamin Nekrasov fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elets's protests and gave Veniamin Nekrasov a yellow card for diving instead. 54 minutes into the game, one of Elets:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Kostroma FC's Egor Familtsev got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nikolay Toporkov. Vladimir Bukhartsev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Bestemyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Evgeniy Zinovev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vladimir Bukhartsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eldar Kapustin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elets's Nikolay Toporkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Elets from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kostroma FC booed when Elets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Leonchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evgeniy Zinovev hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Elets. Aleksey Berdichevskiy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimir Bukhartsev. 3-3. In the 94th match minute, Elets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Plaksin to maneuver through the defense. Egor Familtsev missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nikolay Toporkov right hand side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
