Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladislav Bestemyanov took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Veniamin Nekrasov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrey Masalskiy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pavel Fedorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Toporkov having to interfere. The Ussuriysk fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Ussuriysk's Yuriy Medvedev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Elets's goalkeeper Nikolay Toporkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Fedorov. Yuriy Medvedev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikolay Toporkov having to make a save. Pavel Fedorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Toporkov having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Elets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danila Alachev to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Yuriy Medvedev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Toporkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolay Toporkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuriy Medvedev in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Elets getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fedot Mogilev hit a great ball. If Pavel Fedorov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Fedot Mogilev made a precise shot to the right of Andrey Masalskiy. Ussuriysk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Andrey Basakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ussuriysk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elets the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Andrey Basakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksey Berdichevskiy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
51 minutes into the match, Ussuriysk's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Bestemyanov came free, but Andrey Masalskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Evgeniy Zinovev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elets's Nikolay Toporkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Fedorov in the 56th minute of play. Vladislav Bestemyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Andrey Masalskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irakliy Matveev hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Elets booed when Ussuriysk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Gusinskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Yuriy Medvedev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ussuriysk's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuriy Medvedev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Toporkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrey Basakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Toporkov having to interfere. Nikolay Toporkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Medvedev in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elets players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ussuriysk.
