Anton Ponomarev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Zaikin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Ippolit Buznikin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Zaikin skillfully saved the ball. Klim Nikonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vitaliy Tomkovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitaliy Tomkovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egor Tagankin in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Anton Ponomarev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Zaikin. Kiselevsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Ponomarev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 28 played minutes Stavropol FC got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Golenduhin. Kiselevsk's Andrey Vilinskiy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vitaliy Tomkovich but with some difficulty. Vitaliy Tomkovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egor Tagankin in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Yuriy Illeritskiy from a close distance when the talented Vitaliy Tomkovich managed to make a qualified save. Stavropol FC's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute, Kiselevsk's Egor Tagankin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitaliy Tomkovich. Vitaliy Tomkovich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Artur Zaikin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Iroshnikov in the 45th minute of play. Stavropol FC's Anton Ponomarev got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egor Tagankin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Ponomarev in the 54th minute of play forced Kiselevsk's goalkeeper Artur Zaikin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Egor Tagankin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kiselevsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Stavropol FC's Mark Lomovskoy got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Andrey Vilinskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitaliy Tomkovich skillfully saved the ball. Vitaliy Tomkovich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Illeritskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitaliy Tomkovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egor Tagankin in the 64th minute of play. Artur Zaikin was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiselevsk's goalkeeper Artur Zaikin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Lomovskoy's late challenge caught a Kiselevsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Zaikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ponomarev, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Egor Tagankin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiselevsk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stavropol FC for a fine match.
