German Markov was a little too slow when Maksim Voronov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute of the match Viktor Zysin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Markov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Zagriev in the 9th minute of play forced Dimitrovgrad's goalkeeper Mark Antonov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulyanovsk FC's German Markov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksim Voronov in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stepan Gryakalov during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Dimitrovgrad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Osipenkov to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Ulyanovsk FC's Igor Zagriev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Antonov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maksim Voronov made a kick off. Igor Zagriev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksim Voronov in the 57th minute of play forced Ulyanovsk FC's goalkeeper German Markov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Markov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksim Voronov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. German Markov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksim Voronov in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ulyanovsk FC's Stepan Gryakalov got a free kick in the 67th minute. Stepan Dementiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Markov having to interfere. German Markov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Nikonov in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Ippolit Buryak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulyanovsk FC and the Dimitrovgrad players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ulyanovsk FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ippolit Buryak hit a great ball. Stepan Gryakalov was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Ulyanovsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stepan Gryakalov to maneuver through the defense. Petr Gurovich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Antonov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
