Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladislav Tymyanskiy took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Saransk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Musukaev to maneuver through the defense. After 6 minutes of play, Vladivostok's Efim Bober made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efim Abramov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Efim Bober fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Abramov having to interfere. Veniamin Ustinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Pakharkov having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Vladislav Tymyanskiy made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vladivostok's Efim Pakharkov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saransk's Vladislav Tymyanskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efim Bober fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Abramov having to interfere. Efim Pakharkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Tymyanskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Efim Bober had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efim Abramov. Saransk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efim Bober was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 40th minute, Vladislav Tymyanskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efim Pakharkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Veniamin Ustinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Pakharkov having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Vladislav Tymyanskiy made a precise shot to the right of Efim Pakharkov. Vladivostok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuvenaliy Putistin made a kick off. Gerasim Demushkin charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerasim Demushkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerasim Demushkin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Vladivostok's Yuvenaliy Putistin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efim Abramov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efim Bober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vladivostok's zone, Veniamin Ustinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efim Pakharkov came out of the goal and Veniamin Ustinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efim Abramov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efim Bober in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Oleg Ankirskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vladivostok's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saransk the free kick. A collision led to Vladivostok getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Oleg Ankirskiy hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Vyacheslav Nozdryakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efim Pakharkov skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Ustinov got free with Efim Pakharkov in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Vladivostok got a freekick which was hit by Efim Bober. Vladivostok's Efim Pakharkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Tymyanskiy in the 82nd minute of play. Efim Pakharkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladislav Tymyanskiy in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Veniamin Ustinov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saransk's supporters rose to their feet, but Veniamin Ustinov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efim Pakharkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efim Pakharkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladislav Tymyanskiy in the 93rd minute of the match. Veniamin Ustinov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efim Pakharkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
