Petr Chichilimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgiy Averyanov in the 9th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Cheboksary FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Kimonko. In the 23rd minute, Yaroslav Shmatko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bryansk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rodion Nazarevskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodion Nazarevskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Cheboksary FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodion Nazarevskiy. Petr Chichilimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaroslav Shmatko in the 28th minute of play. Oleg Ovodov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolay Abakshin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryansk FC's Oleg Ovodov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bryansk FC from getting a goal against them. Oleg Ovodov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Kimonko in the 35th minute of the match. Yaroslav Shmatko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Rodion Nazarevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maksim Rukavishnikov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Cheboksary FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Kimonko. Georgiy Averyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Chichilimov having to interfere. Petr Chichilimov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaroslav Shmatko in the 85th minute. Yaroslav Shmatko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Petr Chichilimov made a huge save. In the 89thth minute of the game Georgiy Averyanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheboksary FC's Petr Chichilimov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Filipp Florenskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Ovodov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cheboksary FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bryansk FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bryansk FC.
