After a rather tough play, Bryansk FC's Boris Prozorovskiy got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sergey Denisenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgiy Averyanov in the 16th minute of the match. Saransk's Sergey Denisenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georgiy Averyanov in the 18th minute of play. Daniil Baranov hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sergey Denisenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgiy Averyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Vitaliy Tepluhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oleg Ovodov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitaliy Tepluhin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Artur Akhmetshin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergey Denisenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgiy Averyanov in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bryansk FC's Pavel Nusinov got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Yaroslav Shmatko in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sergey Denisenko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georgiy Averyanov made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Yaroslav Shmatko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bryansk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaroslav Shmatko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georgiy Averyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergey Denisenko having to interfere. Sergey Denisenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georgiy Averyanov's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Georgiy Averyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bryansk FC's goalkeeper Oleg Ovodov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aleksey Egorov's late challenge caught a Bryansk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksey Egorov helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Saransk got a freekick which was hit by Aleksey Egorov. Sergey Denisenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgiy Averyanov in the 77th minute of play. Artur Akhmetshin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitaliy Tepluhin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oleg Ovodov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitaliy Tepluhin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 87 minutes into the match, Bryansk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy Tepluhin came free, but Oleg Ovodov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaroslav Shmatko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergey Denisenko having to make a save. Artur Akhmetshin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Ovodov having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bryansk FC had won after a very even match.
