The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stanislav Burulko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislav Burulko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Vladislav Belyaev made a huge save. Yuriy Gippius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filimon Guzatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Parfen Lukyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyzyl FC and the Ryazan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kyzyl FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Parfen Lukyanov hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ryazan's Stanislav Alyabyshev tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mikhail Dubovskiy hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Mikhail Dubovskiy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Vladislav Belyaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Babitskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Kyzyl FC defense, Stanislav Burulko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladislav Belyaev. The Kyzyl FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladislav Belyaev should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Filimon Guzatov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kyzyl FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kyzyl FC's zone, Ivan Babitskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladislav Belyaev came out of the goal and Ivan Babitskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Babitskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ivan Babitskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladislav Belyaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filimon Guzatov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kirill Kondratiev came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kyzyl FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirill Kondratiev couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Ryazan's goalkeeper Yuriy Gippius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filimon Guzatov. Kyzyl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksandr Garkalin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Kyzyl FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Burulko came free, but Vladislav Belyaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladislav Belyaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Babitskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ivan Babitskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vladislav Belyaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parfen Lukyanov hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kyzyl FC's Kirill Kondratiev got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute, Filimon Guzatov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuriy Gippius, passed just outside the right post.
