In the 8th minute, Albert Strelkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Cheboksary got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Schukin. 14 minutes into the match, Krasnoyarsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Strelkov came free, but Dmitriy Naumov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksandr Schukin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Ignatiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Ignatiev in the 28th minute of play forced Cheboksary's goalkeeper Igor Popov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Krasnoyarsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksandr Schukin came free, but Dmitriy Naumov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Cheboksary's Mikhail Gorovoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dmitriy Naumov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roman Ignatiev struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Igor Popov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasnoyarsk FC. In the 47th minute Roman Ignatiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Popov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksandr Schukin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Popov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marat Kirillov went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mikhail Gorovoy hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Emmanuil Svetlanov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cheboksary's Igor Popov didn't even have to move. Aleksandr Schukin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Krasnoyarsk FC's goalkeeper Dmitriy Naumov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Popov came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Krasnoyarsk FC's Roman Ignatiev. But to his dismay, Roman Ignatiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mikhail Gorovoy hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Emmanuil Svetlanov, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, Cheboksary's Aleksandr Schukin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dmitriy Naumov. Dmitriy Naumov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Albert Strelkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marat Kirillov during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Krasnoyarsk FC's Marat Kirillov got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Ignatiev in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Popov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roman Ignatiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
