The supporters of Tobolsk FC booed when Petropavlovsk-Kamch. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Volov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Vladislav Chervotkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tobolsk FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ernest Chislenko hit a great ball. Aleksey Kaplunov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Georgiy Gavrilev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Garuppa in the 26th minute of the match. Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s Vladislav Chervotkin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tobolsk FC's Semen Karmeev got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s goalkeeper Georgiy Gavrilev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vyacheslav Remin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Georgiy Gavrilev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobolsk FC. If Vyacheslav Remin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladislav Chervotkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladislav Chervotkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Vladislav Chervotkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoriy Zapatrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s Georgiy Gavrilev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vyacheslav Remin in the 62nd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s Vladislav Chervotkin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigoriy Zapatrin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
