Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Petr Seliverstov made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Moscow's Yuriy Asseev got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Moscow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Motorin to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Novotroitsk HC's Georgiy Adamishin tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leonid Kostin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Moscow's Andrey Burchalkin. But to his dismay, Andrey Burchalkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Petr Seliverstov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Novotroitsk HC's Petr Seliverstov got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Ivanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leonid Kostin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Moscow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrey Burchalkin to maneuver through the defense. Denis Ivanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonid Kostin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Denis Ivanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leonid Kostin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oleg Andreev hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Andrey Burchalkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leonid Kostin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrey Burchalkin to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Novotroitsk HC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Timofey Dmitrievskiy hit a great ball. Naum Kokosov came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Novotroitsk HC's Petr Seliverstov. But to his dismay, Petr Seliverstov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Naum Kokosov came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Novotroitsk HC's Arkadiy Grevizirskiy. But to his dismay, Arkadiy Grevizirskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Naum Kokosov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Seliverstov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Novotroitsk HC defense, Andrey Burchalkin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonid Kostin. The Novotroitsk HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonid Kostin should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Novotroitsk HC's Leonid Kostin got control of the ball when Denis Ivanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonid Kostin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Burchalkin in the 86th minute of play. If Petr Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuriy Asseev hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Petr Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
