Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Barnaul's Aleksandr Tretyakov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vyacheslav Demin struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Georgiy Mostovoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevinnomyssk FC. The Barnaul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgiy Mostovoy should have stopped the shot. Vyacheslav Demin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Gavriil Zykov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aleksey Baderskiy skillfully saved the ball. Nikita Trunyaev got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Georgiy Mostovoy handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Anatoliy Alekseev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nevinnomyssk FC's Aleksey Baderskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Tretyakov in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Vyacheslav Demin made the kick off in the second half. When Gavriil Zykov fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnaul's protests and gave Gavriil Zykov a yellow card for diving instead. 53 minutes into the game, one of Barnaul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Nevinnomyssk FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valeriy Kostrov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barnaul's Georgiy Mostovoy. 0-2. Nikita Trunyaev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georgiy Mostovoy having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Vyacheslav Demin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksandr Tretyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Baderskiy having to interfere. Barnaul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevinnomyssk FC the free kick. A collision led to Barnaul getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Grigoriy Chufarovskiy hit a great ball. Maksim Savin charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Vyacheslav Demin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georgiy Mostovoy. That made the score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Danila Aleksandrov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes, Barnaul's Gavriil Zykov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aleksey Baderskiy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barnaul reached it. Aleksandr Tretyakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aleksey Baderskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Nikita Trunyaev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Nevinnomyssk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Shubin to maneuver through the defense. Georgiy Mostovoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vyacheslav Demin in the 97th minute of play. The Nevinnomyssk FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nevinnomyssk FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
