Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Gleb Romashov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 9 played minutes Kovrov HC got a freekick which was hit by Mikhail Chistyakov. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Danila Titov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danila Titov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gleb Romashov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Penza FC's Danila Titov in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kovrov HC's goalie prevented a goal. Gleb Romashov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danila Titov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gleb Romashov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danila Titov in the 15th minute of the match. Dmitriy Gorodetskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danila Titov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Penza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Lavrentev to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Grigoriy Shtark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigoriy Shtark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksim Lisavenko having to interfere. In the 46th minute Danila Titov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gleb Romashov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Kovrov HC's goalkeeper Gleb Romashov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Volkonskiy. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Igor Volkonskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gleb Romashov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Grigoriy Shtark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maksim Lisavenko. The goal made the score 0-1. Maksim Lisavenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigoriy Shtark in the 69th minute. Grigoriy Shtark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksim Lisavenko having to interfere. Penza FC's Igor Volkonskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evsey Babushkin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Danila Titov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danila Titov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dmitriy Gorodetskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kovrov HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dmitriy Gorodetskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksim Lisavenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Grigoriy Shtark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazemir Berestov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dmitriy Gorodetskiy struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Maksim Lisavenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovrov HC. After a rather tough play, Penza FC's Gavriil Talyzin got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Grigoriy Shtark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Klim Agalarov fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kovrov HC's protests and gave Klim Agalarov a yellow card for diving instead. Klim Agalarov hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Gleb Romashov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Lavrentev in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Kovrov HC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Penza FC.
