Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ivanovo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Mikhail Kukurov scored to the left of an out of position Georgiy Reshulskiy, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th match minute, Ivanovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arseniy Maletskiy to maneuver through the defense. When Mikhail Kukurov came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ryazan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikhail Kukurov couldn't finish the play. Zinoviy Manilov's late challenge caught a Ivanovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zinoviy Manilov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Ryazan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinoviy Manilov to maneuver through the defense. Afanasiy Perekalin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mikhail Kukurov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Reshulskiy having to interfere. Borislav Palenko kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Vitaliy Zinovev came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ivanovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy Zinovev couldn't finish the play. In the 25thth minute of the game Aleksandr Knyazev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivanovo's Georgiy Reshulskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georgiy Reshulskiy made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Aleksandr Knyazev sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Istratov in the 29th minute of play forced Ryazan FC's goalkeeper Vasiliy Munskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgiy Reshulskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikhail Kukurov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Roman Istratov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ryazan FC's goalkeeper Vasiliy Munskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mikhail Kukurov made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Ivanovo's Konstantin Zykov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vasiliy Munskiy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ivanovo reached it. Ryazan FC's Vasiliy Munskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ryazan FC from getting a goal against them. Aleksandr Knyazev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Reshulskiy having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play Ivanovo's Borislav Palenko was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ivanovo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Borislav Palenko hit a great ball. Zinoviy Manilov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Reshulskiy having to interfere. Georgiy Reshulskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikhail Kukurov's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinoviy Manilov in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georgiy Reshulskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ryazan FC's Vasiliy Munskiy got control of the ball when Roman Istratov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes Ryazan FC got a freekick which was hit by Zinoviy Barskov. Roman Istratov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vasiliy Munskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Ryazan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinoviy Barskov to maneuver through the defense. When Mikhail Kukurov fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ryazan FC's protests and gave Mikhail Kukurov a yellow card for diving instead. Mikhail Kukurov hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ivanovo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ryazan FC.
