Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Felix Habov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Igor Abramovich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnaul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnaul FC the free kick. Gleb Larin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Mashkov went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Nikolay Fedoseev came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Barnaul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikolay Fedoseev couldn't finish the play. Nikolay Fedoseev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gleb Larin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Barnaul booed when Barnaul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Suvorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaul's Arkadiy Filatov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barnaul FC. 22 minutes into the match, Barnaul's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Mashkov came free, but Gleb Larin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gleb Larin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Habov's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Felix Mashkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gleb Larin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Mashkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Felix Habov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gleb Larin. Barnaul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Habov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Felix Mashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Habov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gleb Larin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Mashkov in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gleb Larin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Oleg Melnikov made the kick off in the second half. Gerasim Rozenbaum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikolay Fedoseev went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Nikolay Selihov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Arkadiy Filatov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barnaul FC's Gerasim Rozenbaum didn't even have to move. Felix Mashkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuvenaliy Borovoy hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Eduard Homskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Homskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Barnaul got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Homskiy. The supporters of Barnaul FC booed when Barnaul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Homskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Barnaul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barnaul FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gleb Larin, was totally fooled by Barnaul FC's Petr Aronov, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nikolay Fedoseev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnaul's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolay Fedoseev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerasim Rozenbaum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Barnaul FC's zone, Nikolay Fedoseev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerasim Rozenbaum came out of the goal and Nikolay Fedoseev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerasim Rozenbaum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Fedoseev in the 91st minute of play. Nikolay Fedoseev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Rozenbaum having to interfere. The Barnaul FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barnaul FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
