Aleksandr Yakushev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arseniy Serezhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arseniy Serezhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arseniy Serezhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Aleksandr Yakushev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Balakovo HC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chita FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ivan Yakovlev made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Chita FC's Arseniy Serezhin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Yakushev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 67thth minute of the game Ivan Yakovlev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chita FC's Petr Holod was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aleksey Galkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vyacheslav Dusheiko hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes Balakovo HC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Emelyanov.
