Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mechislav Sereznov started the match with the kick off. Efim Adrianov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Aleksey Kudinov would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bratsk FC's Vladimir Anyukov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mechislav Sereznov in the 6th minute of play. Vitaliy Gerasimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vladimir Anyukov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efim Adrianov struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Aleksey Kudinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bratsk FC. 22 minutes into the game, one of Bratsk FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aleksey Kudinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Vodyagin in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Bratsk FC booed when Vladikavkaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiy Myakonkih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evgeniy Nesmachko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksey Kudinov. Vladikavkaz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Vodyagin in the 34th minute of play forced Vladikavkaz's goalkeeper Aleksey Kudinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Anyukov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mechislav Sereznov in the 39th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitaliy Vodyagin was the one to do the kick off. Vitaliy Gerasimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Efim Adrianov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksey Kudinov. Vladikavkaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efim Adrianov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Mechislav Sereznov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Anyukov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mechislav Sereznov, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vitaliy Gerasimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, Bratsk FC's Efim Adrianov made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksey Kudinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Mechislav Sereznov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimir Anyukov. That made the score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. Bratsk FC's Vitaliy Vodyagin suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ruslan Zhdanov's late challenge caught a Bratsk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruslan Zhdanov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vladikavkaz getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ruslan Zhdanov hit a great ball. Valentin Kurashov missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 99 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aleksey Kudinov right hand side.
