Novy Urengoy's Mikhail Gubaidullin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danila Razumov in the 10th minute of play. Roman Ishigenov's late challenge caught a Biysk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Ishigenov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Roman Ishigenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Biysk's Danila Razumov in the 16th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mikhail Gubaidullin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Novy Urengoy through an amazing save. In the 17th match minute, Novy Urengoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Koshelev to maneuver through the defense. Danila Razumov struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mikhail Gubaidullin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biysk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikita Shrapko in the 21st minute of play forced Biysk's goalkeeper Marat Sizemov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pavel Knutov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marat Sizemov. Biysk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Knutov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Novy Urengoy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Danila Razumov 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Nikita Shrapko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marat Sizemov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Knutov in the 37th minute of play forced Biysk's goalkeeper Marat Sizemov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Novy Urengoy booed when Biysk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danila Titlov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Novy Urengoy's Yaroslav Belov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Biysk getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Danila Titlov hit a great ball. Marat Sizemov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Knutov in the 40th minute of the match. Novy Urengoy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Danila Razumov 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 48th minute of the match Yakov Savkin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikhail Gubaidullin skillfully saved the ball.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikita Shrapko got free with Marat Sizemov in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marat Sizemov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Knutov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nikita Shrapko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marat Sizemov made a huge save. Yaroslav Belov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marat Sizemov. Biysk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Pavel Knutov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sevastyan Olsufev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikhail Gubaidullin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sevastyan Olsufev in the 83rd minute of the match. Pavel Knutov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marat Sizemov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Danila Razumov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Danila Razumov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Gubaidullin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biysk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Novy Urengoy for a fine match.
