The Biysk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marat Sizemov should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Yakov Savkin in the 15th minute really tested Dmitriy Shmatovich's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Maksim Nesterov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sevastyan Olsufev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Tambov's Dmitriy Shmatovich got control of the ball when Sevastyan Olsufev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maksim Nesterov struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Marat Sizemov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambov. 34 minutes into the match, Tambov's goal looked a bit too open when Danila Razumov came free, but Dmitriy Shmatovich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Biysk's zone, Artur Berezutskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marat Sizemov came out of the goal and Artur Berezutskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Maksim Nesterov made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Maksim Nesterov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marat Sizemov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Artur Berezutskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Danila Razumov came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Biysk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danila Razumov couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tambov getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Oleg Lomkov hit a great ball. Artur Berezutskiys short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Marat Sizemov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maksim Nesterov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marat Sizemov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Tambov got a freekick which was hit by Dmitriy Alekseenko. When Maksim Nesterov came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tambov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksim Nesterov couldn't finish the play. Vitaliy Zhidilev kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Artur Berezutskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danila Razumov scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dmitriy Shmatovich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tambov's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Biysk had won, even though Tambov had held more of the ball.
