Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Timur Gorshenin made the kick off which started today's match. If Matvey Benediktov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veniamin Sagadaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Gorshenin in the 5th minute of play. Elektrostal's Nikolay Babkin suffered a sore thigh after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dmitriy Antipov kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Matvey Egorov hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Vsevolod Leipunskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matvey Benediktov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Veniamin Sagadaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Timur Gorshenin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Veniamin Sagadaev, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Saransk FC's zone, Vsevolod Leipunskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Gavrilov came out of the goal and Vsevolod Leipunskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vsevolod Leipunskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elektrostal's supporters rose to their feet, but Vsevolod Leipunskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Gavrilov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veniamin Sagadaev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matvey Benediktov in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Timur Gorshenin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Veniamin Sagadaev. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Veniamin Sagadaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Gorshenin in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Timur Gorshenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Sagadaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timur Gorshenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veniamin Sagadaev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timur Gorshenin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Vsevolod Leipunskiy made the kick off in the second half. Saransk FC's Dmitriy Antipov suffered a sprained foot after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 53 minutes, Parfen Valovoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elektrostal and the Saransk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Elektrostal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Parfen Valovoy to maneuver through the defense. Vsevolod Leipunskiy struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rudolf Gavrilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elektrostal. German Venevtsov kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Vsevolod Leipunskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergey Chobotov struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rudolf Gavrilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elektrostal. Vsevolod Leipunskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Rudolf Gavrilov made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Elektrostal's Mechislav Timerbulatov got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Saransk FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Timur Gorshenin hit a great ball. Vsevolod Leipunskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Venevtsov hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saransk FC's zone, Vsevolod Leipunskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Gavrilov came out of the goal and Vsevolod Leipunskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matvey Benediktov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saransk FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elektrostal for a fine match.
