Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vologda's Stanislav Eretnov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Rozmyslov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirill Kuskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Rozmyslov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Eretnov's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Vologda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Andryuhin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vologda defense, Oleg Abaturov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Narezhnyi. The Vologda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Narezhnyi should have stopped the shot. Stanislav Eretnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Felix Rozmyslov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislav Eretnov in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Rozmyslov saved Zhukovsky FC from getting behind. Vologda's Pavel Narezhnyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Abaturov in the 20th minute of play. Oleg Abaturov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Narezhnyi having to interfere. When Vologda's Stanislav Eretnov in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zhukovsky FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zhukovsky FC's Felix Rozmyslov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Eretnov in the 28th minute of play. Stanislav Eretnov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Stanislav Eretnov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zhukovsky FC's Felix Rozmyslov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oleg Stasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Narezhnyi having to interfere. If Oleg Abaturov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Valeriy Kostromskoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vologda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriy Kostromskoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oleg Abaturov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Narezhnyi having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Oleg Abaturov made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zhukovsky FC's goalkeeper Felix Rozmyslov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zhukovsky FC's Andrey Dorovskiy got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Stanislav Eretnov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Zhukovsky FC's goalkeeper Felix Rozmyslov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriy Kostromskoy. Pavel Narezhnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Abaturov, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Valeriy Kostromskoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Rozmyslov having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vologda's zone, Oleg Stasov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Narezhnyi came out of the goal and Oleg Stasov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Stanislav Eretnov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Rozmyslov. Stanislav Eretnov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Zhukovsky FC's Oleg Stasov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Narezhnyi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Valeriy Kostromskoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vologda's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriy Kostromskoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Rozmyslov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pavel Narezhnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Stasov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Oleg Abaturov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
