In the 27th minute Oleg Stasov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Chadin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kirill Zinkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhukovsky FC's Oleg Abaturov got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serpukhov HC's Kirill Zinkov suffered a fractured collar bone after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 38 minutes into the game, Mikhail Konstantinov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zhukovsky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serpukhov HC the free kick.
