Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stanislav Eretnov kicked off to start the match. Oleg Chadin was a little too slow when Stanislav Eretnov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After 10 minutes, Aleksey Titov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vologda and the Serpukhov HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Vologda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Titov to maneuver through the defense. When Kirill Zinkov came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Serpukhov HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirill Zinkov couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Serpukhov HC's Rostislav Rodionov got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gennadiy Lemko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Serpukhov HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stanislav Eretnov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Serpukhov HC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rostislav Rodionov hit a great ball. Vologda's Aleksey Kirillov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Serpukhov HC. Mark Dolgov hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kirill Zinkov made a kick off. Gennadiy Lemko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 53rd playminute. In the 56th match minute, Vologda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Dubolazov to maneuver through the defense. Kirill Zinkov struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pavel Narezhnyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serpukhov HC. In the 59th minute Kirill Zinkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Narezhnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Valeriy Kostromskoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vologda booed when Serpukhov HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikita Biktemirov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislav Eretnov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gennadiy Lemko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pavel Narezhnyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vologda's Pavel Narezhnyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Vologda from getting a goal against them. If Gennadiy Lemko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Kirill Zinkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriy Kostromskoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Oleg Chadin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Igor Arshinnikov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serpukhov HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vologda the free kick. Igor Arshinnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Vologda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
