Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Murmansk's Vasiliy Vislyi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Vasiliy Vislyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murmansk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekaterinburg the free kick. Vasiliy Vislyi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Pavel Timofeev hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Murmansk booed when Ekaterinburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Galin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Vasiliy Hvylevyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murmansk and the Ekaterinburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ekaterinburg booed when Murmansk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasiliy Hvylevyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Timur Denisevskiy managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Ekaterinburg's Nikolay Dostoevskiy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Timur Zabuldygin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Timur Denisevskiy, passed just outside the right post. Panteleimon Melnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Murmansk's Vasiliy Hvylevyi got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Murmansk's goalkeeper Timur Denisevskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolay Dostoevskiy. In the 30th minute Vasiliy Vislyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Zembulatov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Zembulatov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasiliy Vislyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timur Zabuldygin to make the kick off. If Vasiliy Zybin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasiliy Zybin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Konstantin Zembulatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Solomkin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Murmansk's Vasiliy Vislyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konstantin Zembulatov. That made the score 0-1 after 60 minutes of play. Vasiliy Vislyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Nikolay Dostoevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasiliy Vislyi in the 70th minute of play forced Ekaterinburg's goalkeeper Konstantin Zembulatov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Konstantin Zembulatov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Vasiliy Vislyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmansk's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasiliy Vislyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Zembulatov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasiliy Vislyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Zembulatov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Vasiliy Zybin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmansk's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasiliy Zybin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Zembulatov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Murmansk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ekaterinburg.
