Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ilya Tamarkin made the kick off which started today's match. When Arkadiy Nikolaev fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sochi HC's protests and gave Arkadiy Nikolaev a yellow card for diving instead. Arkadiy Nikolaev kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ilya Tamarkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eduard Evdokimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Danil Utugunov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sochi HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Sochi HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilya Tamarkin came free, but Eduard Evdokimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sochi HC's Arkadiy Nikolaev got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Arkadiy Nikolaev off the ground. In the 19th match minute, Sochi HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiy Nikolaev to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Ilya Tamarkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilya Tamarkin in the 24th minute of play forced Sochi HC's goalkeeper Eduard Evdokimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Oleg Andrienko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Gerasim Seliverstov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lipetsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sochi HC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lipetsk's Gerasim Seliverstov got a free kick in the 27th minute. Roman Tretyakov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eduard Evdokimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilya Tamarkin in the 36th minute of play. When Gerasim Seliverstov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. Gerasim Seliverstov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A hard shot by Roman Tretyakov from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Anatoliy Tyulenin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Grigoriy Belov put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduard Evdokimov. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danil Utugunov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danil Utugunov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anatoliy Tyulenin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipetsk's goalkeeper Anatoliy Tyulenin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anatoliy Tyulenin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Utugunov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danil Utugunov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatoliy Tyulenin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Grigoriy Belov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eduard Evdokimov, passed just outside the right post. In the 62nd minute Danil Utugunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoliy Tyulenin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lipetsk getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Oleg Andrienko hit a great ball. Danil Utugunov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anatoliy Tyulenin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danil Utugunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Danil Utugunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Danil Utugunov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Anatoliy Tyulenin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, Sochi HC's goalkeeper Eduard Evdokimov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigoriy Belov. Danil Utugunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Tyulenin having to interfere. With a little luck, Sochi HC's Eduard Evdokimov got control of the ball when Grigoriy Belov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sochi HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lipetsk for a fine match.
