Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Timofey Yagich kicked off to start the match. Timofey Yagich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Kopeysk HC's Andrey Yalovoy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matvey Kuzovatov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Innokentiy Larionov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Matvey Kuzovatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Magnitogorsk's Timofey Yagich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aleksey Tarasenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timofey Yagich, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Innokentiy Larionov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matvey Kuzovatov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikhail Stolypin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Svetlanov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Matvey Kuzovatov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Stolypin in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
German Svetlanov charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Svetlanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. German Svetlanov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Magnitogorsk booed when Kopeysk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladislav Malafeev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Mikhail Tuniev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aleksey Tarasenko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, Kopeysk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petr Masendich to maneuver through the defense. David Semitko's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Aleksey Tarasenko - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 65th minute. Innokentiy Larionov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksey Tarasenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magnitogorsk.
