The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Semen Skovordin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arsen Romanov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Demyan Gabrielyants fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Timur Pastuhov, passed just outside the right post. Andrey Kishenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arsen Romanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrey Kishenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Timur Pastuhov made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Maksim Lapin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 30 minutes, Maksim Lapin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blagoveshchensk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksim Lapin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semen Skovordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsen Romanov having to interfere. Andrey Kishenin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsen Romanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Kishenin came free, but Arsen Romanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Belyakov hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Maksim Lapin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Semen Skovordin made the kick off in the second half. Arsen Vorontsov charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsen Vorontsov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demyan Gabrielyants in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timur Pastuhov saved Moscow HC from getting behind. Timur Pastuhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Belyakov in the 57th minute of the match. Grigoriy Buldashov charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoriy Buldashov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blagoveshchensk FC's goalkeeper Arsen Romanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Blagoveshchensk FC booed when Moscow HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gennadiy Zhuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk FC's goalkeeper Arsen Romanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Kishenin. Konstantin Gushalevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsen Romanov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demyan Gabrielyants in the 87th minute of play forced Moscow HC's goalkeeper Timur Pastuhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Blagoveshchensk FC booed when Moscow HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Gushalevich didn't get a good kick on the ball.
