Kemerovo FC's Zinoviy Samonov got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danila Kovtunov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anatoliy Ovcharov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Mikhail Arabkaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinoviy Samonov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasiliy Sibirev kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Vyacheslav Misyuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stepan Horoshilov struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mikhail Arabkaev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemerovo FC. 27 minutes into the game, Vyacheslav Misyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magnitogorsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kemerovo FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Magnitogorsk got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Misyuk. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zinoviy Samonov in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikhail Arabkaev saved Magnitogorsk from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, Magnitogorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Simonov to maneuver through the defense. If Zinoviy Samonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Arabkaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Horoshilov in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Ovcharov in the 36th minute of play forced Kemerovo FC's goalkeeper Danila Kovtunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Vasiliy Sibirev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kemerovo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magnitogorsk the free kick. In the 48th minute, Evgeniy Porohovnikov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kemerovo FC's Danila Kovtunov didn't even have to move. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stepan Horoshilov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zinoviy Samonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mikhail Arabkaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Magnitogorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Simonov to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Stepan Horoshilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zinoviy Samonov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kemerovo FC's Danila Kovtunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danila Yakubchik in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Stepan Horoshilov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mikhail Arabkaev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zinoviy Samonov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Mikhail Arabkaev made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Danila Yakubchik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danila Kovtunov was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Evgeniy Porohovnikov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kemerovo FC's Danila Kovtunov didn't even have to move. Danila Kovtunov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danila Yakubchik's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Stepan Horoshilov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikhail Arabkaev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Nikita Kopylov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kemerovo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Magnitogorsk.
